Who founded the Women's Museum?
Rania Obaid Ghubash founded the Women's Museum. As an Emirati woman herself, Dr. Ghubash experienced childhood with the coast of the Dubai River. His mother instructed him to respect the history and culture of his home country, and this love encompassed the center of history. This is a path far from clinical taking a view in the past, however, more as a tribute to the precious ancestor of a solid Emirate woman.
Where was the Women's Museum found?
The Women's Museum is located in Deira, near Gold Souq (close to Dubai by Foot which offers the Old Dubai Tour). The house itself is called Bait al Banat, which means The Girls House. It worked during the 1950s and was originally a private home. Here, three unmarried Emirate sisters live - so even the structure itself is verifiable intrigue.
